Our 15th Event August 2010 marked a new chapter for Stellar Advantage.  A limited number of Professional Troupes were offered the opportunity to be named our first "Stellar Professional Troupe of the Year".  In a very close race decided by our fabulous evaluation crew, the answer was determined...

Our Stellar Professional Troupe for 2010 is

TROUPE GAIA of COSTA RICA!  

CONGRATULATIONS!  

FOR 2011

The "Stellar Professional Troupe of the Year" will receive the following:

- Saroyan Professional Finger Cymbals for each dancer in the Performing Troupe (director to choose style).

- Custom Veils for each member of Performing Troupe in solid color of choice or gradient style color mix of choice (director to submit color choice).

- Complimentary admission for the entire performing troupe to an equal number of day of Stellar Advantage 2012 Belly Dance Masters Program as each original performing member's original registration for 2011.  Each returning performing member may choose preferred days of attendance.

- Stellar Professional Troupe of the Year will be featured on Stellar Advantage website with link to troupe website, and featured in the 2012 Saturday Gala Show and on 2012 Commemorative Poster.  Stellar Professional Troupe of the Year Troupe Director will be promoted as part of the Faculty for the 2012 Belly Dance Masters.

Stellar Professional Troupe of the Year Requirements:

- Performing troupe must be 3 or more members who are serious, advanced level artists.

- Performance can be up to 8 minutes in length

- Performance can be Egyptian, Cabaret, American Belly Dance or Any Fusion style

- Troupe may be required to submit recent video for review prior to acceptance.

- All performing members must be registered for at least two (2) full days of the 2011 Belly Dance Masters Program.  

Our 2011 Stellar Troupes will be judged on the following criteria:

- Appearance

- Technique

- Choreography

- Originality

- Synchronicity

- Audience Connection and Appeal
